To support accelerating innovative cancer research and increase the impact of the Pelotonia community’s fundraising, Greif will be offering a fundraising incentive for all 2024 participants (Riders, Volunteers, and Challengers) in honor of World Cancer Research Day.   

With “Get Two, Get More!” supported by Greif, every Pelotonia participant who receives two unique donations of any amount to their fundraising profiles between September 24 and September 27 will be entered to win a bonus donation of $50, $100, $250, or $500. 

Greif’s involvement in this year’s ride has set new standards for collective effort and global unity in the fight against cancer. Their involvement in Ride Weekend 2024 was marked by an impressive milestone: their largest Rider group to date.  

Over 380 participants from Greif joined forces for this year’s ride, taking on challenging distances, showcasing their physical endurance but also their commitment to ending cancer. With 62 riders, 325 challengers, and 2 volunteers, Greif riders came together from across the world—joining from places like the rolling hills of Ohio to the vibrant streets of Singapore.

With 9 countries and 9 states represented by Greif, and a total of 16 countries and 47 states represented across all Pelotonia participants—riders, challengers, and volunteers—the global reach exemplifies that the battle against cancer knows no borders. 

Thanks to their unwavering dedication, the team has already raised an impressive $210,000 this year, bringing us one step closer to a cancer-free future.
